here's a quick update from the wor i did last week on it, got it ready to go back on the road, just need an alternator as mine has packed it in.

also bought these the other week for a fiver but cant make up my mind whether to fit them, what do people think?

no mate its still on axle stands need a passenger side front hub assembly as when the wheel bearing exploded it took alot of the inside of the hub with it

. plus not Mot or Tax because i cant drive it to get a MOT on it , need it back on the road asap

heres sme pics of how it was looking before i pulled it apart to rebuild it, as a wheel bearing exploded on me a 90mph.

right heres the big update of the work i done in march when i had a week of but aint done no more to it since as cant get the part i need.

striping the engine down and gearbox out, suspension and brakes all off.

the old gearbox

the heaps of parts i took off the car

my scrap and rubbish heap which by the end of the week was 4 times the size lool

and one final shot of the engine bay from above

started to put it back together with new parts

then i did all the silly little bits i have been meaning to do for a long time and fitted the braided brake lines

wel i fitted the following.

new bottom end gasket set
oil pump
water pump
cam belt
series 2 rst gearbox
new ht leads
throttle body gasket
samco hoses
grooved discs
braided lines
bleeded brakes with dot5 fluid
modified a escort quickshift kit to fit in the fiesta gear selector
paint interior floor

and sorted out a few other bits and pieces i had been meaning to do.
