Posted: Sun Sep 04, 2011 12:07 pmred small turbo escort cosworth, very reluctant sale but I just don't use the car enough. I've owned it for the last 15 months - it was taken in part ex against my previous cosworth as a mini project.

Car has had a lot of time and money spent getting it to the standard it is now. In the past 12 months I have purchased and fitted the following parts:
Brand new headlights
Brand new side lights
Brand new front bumper fog lights
Brand new front bumper amber indicators
Brand new rear light set
Brand new side repeaters
Brand new whale tail spoiler seal
Brand new gear knob
Brand new leather gear gaiter
Brand new tailgate boot badge set
Brand new aluminium radiator
Brand new header tank
Brand new battery
Brand new rear brake disks
Brand new rear brand pads
Brand new pop out window caps
Brand new front bumper wing grills
Brand new rear anti roll bar drop links
Brand new spark plugs
Brand new rocker gasket
Brand new standard air filter
Brand new speedo cable
Brand new alternator
Brand new bonnet release cable
Brand new throttle position sensor
Brand new lambda / oxygen sensor
Baileys red dump valve
Also, the car has:
Blue samco boost and water hoses
Poly bushed front end

The car benefits from a 3'' stainless steel exhaust system with brand new sports cat and oval exhaust pipe.
Interior is full lux raven black leather in very good condition (just very minor wear on drivers seat as expected for age of car)
Leather steering wheel with airbag
remote central locking with alarm and immobiliser
replacement starter motor
2 new track rod ends
4 wheel balancing and laser alignment
It has had all 4 wheels recently refurbished to a very high standard
Front end was painted due to stone chips (bonnet front bumper and both wings and wing mirrors)
Rocker cover has also been refurbished
The shell of the car is very solid had all new inner and outer cills replaced by myself 12 months ago along with new front jacking points.
Car has been set up using a apexi avcr electronic boost controller to around stage 1 but have no print outs to prove any bhp claims
Now for the bad bits - the car is a little jerky on acceleration, I have been advised that the fuel pump is a little tired so could do with being replaced soon but it drives fine. Front wheels could do with rebalancing since refurb. Couple of minor dinks to bottom of driver's door (cheap job via dent master). needs front abs sensor
The car was built from a shell about 3 years ago now and registered as a RS2000.It is on a P plate. Some receipts and history since I've owned the car .car has been VOSA checked etc paperwork to prove
