for sale my mk3 escort cab running a harvey gibbs spec'd series 2 turbo'd engine,series 2 gearing and lsd in to series 1 casing.

all wired in,plumbed up PROPERLY as im a porsche,merc,bmw tech being abit of a perfectionist aswell everything on the the car is either new,painted or cleaneed down on a wire wheel making this car an easy show car!recently taking it to a local show and can quiet proudly have the bonet poped up.this is a relist after a deal with a sapp coz went wrong so the only reason for this regretable sale is that im after a cosworth or somthing with a cosworth motor in;-)the car had recent rolling road set up after it was run in and recorded with a print out a 242bhp@4949rpm and a massive 274lbft@4439rpm !!!!

engine:

1640 cvh block fully rebuilt 1.5 k ago

new mahle piston machined by harvey gibbs to give 7.6:1 cr

polished and sized standard rods which came from a complete standard unstressed,unchipped motor

polished and crack tested crankshaft with brand new shells to match

recon head,freshly lapped in valves,stem seal etc using gen ford gaskets,seals

new c/belt with new s/s cam cover(not in photo)

new scs spec stg 3 turbo with .48ex housing, 55trim comp wheel and 360' t/bearing

uprated fuelling,with its pressure regulator active (cold start removed)

gear box;(rebuilt 2k ago)

fully rebuilt "big bearing" gear box by harvey gibbs

s2 gearing and lsd in to series 1 casing

new helix 4 paddle clutch

techniclutch h/d cover plate and release bearing

brakes:

cosworth 2wd calipers (recon)

new cosworth 4wd disks

braided lines.......this list can go on and on its over 6k spent in a year and a packet of receipts to prove nearly everything is new on the car it has an rs1600i gen front spoiler and steering wheel,boost,amp.oil gauge new rear wheel cylinders and shoes new yokahama prada tyres 205/40x17 new headlights,flame kit could be an easy show car. its a very fast car and aggressive to drive so not really for the faint hearted!!! feel free to email me or call me on 07704769389 thanks for looking forgot to mention its got a brand new b&m shifter.

is there prof of the bhp is this on standard mfi managment

yeah on mfi so im gonna spend say another grand on cozy management and get an extra 50 bhp and no more touque,thats why im selling it id sooner put the grand towards a cosworth cheers

realy nice that just never heard of 250 bhp 0n mfi,whats the trim in it

hi mate ive got print out of bhp!thats why harvey is one of the best he knows his stuff what about the tourque on it then it pulls like an train,if you have any questions on the engine ring harvey.it has s1 recaros in it good condition cheers mate

also whats the paintwork and roof like

roof is in mint condition no rips, its had full respray one of the straightesrt fords ive seen,242bhp at fly wheel and 205bhp at the wheels its the tourque you want and it has alot,make me an offer i cant refuse mate
