Back in an RS badged Ford

Well it's been a few years since my ERST has been on the road, 8 to be precise but after a foray into VAG and then porsche I made the leap back into RS ownership.

So now this lives on my driveway....

Had it for a month now and it's like having a bigger faster more comfortable ERST. I was always sceptical of the focus RS models but now I have one I can honestly say that ford did an epic job of making the cars fun to drive. To be honest the only thing I don't like about it is how complicated it is but then that's modern cars for you. And even though I now have a fast and fun RS again it has reignited my love for the ERST. Sadly I will be abroad for a good lump of this year but as soon as the weather gets better I'll be doing more to the escort to get her running again.

Cheers Jan. It's a great car, few little bits i'm not overly keen on but overall an absolutely brilliant bit of kit. I'll have to find time to pop down and say hello. can't remember the last time i poked my head in. It's certainly not been since you moved into the new yard.
