yes the car actually does look nice with no visable rust , it just needs more welding than the titanic lol. shame thow as everything else is good, as was rebuilt begining of this year only running @ 178 but any more and i rekon it would pull the front end off :lol:

wot you have to do matey is search your local bargain pages and car adds and look for mint mk4 escort with like 10k miles for like ?500 and build that :wink:

an easier option in your case would be to buy a mint xr3i (mfi) and turbo it :wink:

na not really, you can pick up escort shells pretty cheaply, its finding a good one thats hard,

also it doesnt have to be a RS shell :wink:

Well my plan was always simple (And feel free to take this off Mods lol, I may be investigated by the Feds..)

Buy (depending on what car I decide on) the cheapest and shittest model of that car, and buy the higher spec model I liked too, (for example... Escort RST and Escort Popular) get a SORN on the RS, insure the popular, say its whatever colour the RS is, swap the plates n ta da... lol :lol:

i thought bout doin that like but u got 2 watch incase u get stopped nd they check the chassis number,at least wiv my orion i got the very likely chance of them not havin a clue about the engine when they look at it,lol,its still a 1.6 innit?lol its just got a dirty big turbo strapped to it!! :wink:

you need to work in the motor trade or own a car garage i think :roll:

im a plasterer and my insurance is only ?199 now on the mk3 but ?530 on the sherpa :shock: sherpas worth ?100 and the mk3 s insured for 4k :) gotta tax the mk3 this week and do all xmas shopping and car set up expensive week :lol: and then amsterdam shud be gud xmas :)
