the bloke we brought it off spent roughly Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£25,000 includin the cost of the car.

hopefully it will be a sweet ride once it's fixed. than we can take it bac down bas to beat some more guys. possibly turnin it up 2 20psi so it does 400bhp

whats the point in 300ftlbs if you can't put it down???

and mikey no a shortshifter will just "shorten" the throw of the gearstick and make changes a fraction faster.

the losses are due to moving components... in the 4wd system the gearbox is driving a trasnfer box and 2 differentials 4 drive shafts and 4 wheels as opposed to half the amount in the 2wd setup, each diff, shaft hub etc creates friction and slows the drive train down. the engine has to overcome this... therefore the power difference between the fly wheel and the road can be substaintially lower especially for a 4wd system
