my new motor

due to a change in circumstances i decided i needed something abit more economical so after looking about for a deisel :shock: i was'nt happy with the pug 106's and mk6 escorts and mk3 astras then i spotted this baby on flea bay not to everyones taste but it suits me down to the ground

600miles out of £40 of fuel and looking good at the same time :P

its a original xr2 its had alot of new panels and a re spray a few years back the shell is mint perfect for a future project but for now the 1.6 deisel will propel me around on my travels :D

i do in excess of 20k a year with the prices of fuel now it makes sence it will be a good motor for traveling to shows etc i don't think ill be seeing a drag strip for a while tho lol

theres always the option of a high power turbo deisel with a chip in such a light car the torque would make it move pretty well

kool stuff..............was thinking same as neil about how u get the econemy from that until i noticed the diesle engine :lol:


tis the way forward at the mo having a diesel as ur daily runner, thats wot i do.....saves me loadsa dollar :P

yes definetly im not regretting it abit but theres alot of power to be had from some of them and they still do good mpg and perform im missing the xr2 sound tho but ill get used to it
