The car was chipped, but due to significant engine wear (bottom end) I never really had it set-up properly. It was estimated around 160bhp but after nine-years, was costing me too much money and still wasn't improving things etc...

It was a 1982 Mark III shell, so its aged well, but the bodywork was in need of TLC, but nothing that cannot be repaired.

The engine, bearing in mind was an XR3 block with Low-Compression pistons, RS Turbo Oil Pump etc... was still strong, but did need a rebuild due to low oil pressure (unless the gauge was faulty).

I now drive a Focus ST170, but I do miss the turbocharger pull and dump-valve, but I don't miss spending out money on repairs every other mnth.
