i would say the collins chip would offer about the same./personally id opt for just about anything that gives full mapping capabilities,and off the shelf pre-written maps just wont cut it.motorsport developments have an evo chip that they "live "map whilst driving the car.one drives,the other maps as it performs and finds the areas it needs in the ignition/fuel map.
im using a unichip and to be fair i cant fault it..
it was mapped and eliminated the flat spot areas,and reponded to the mods id made to the engine..not to mention that every engine is entirely different in its overal characteristics to another.
if you knew right now,that something like throttle bodies is for you,then step up to some decent standalone management like omex,dta or emerald.
the unichip will totally cope with anyting likethe mods your making,plus cams,headwork etc.
